Catherine, always known to everyone as 'Fanny', was a warm and caring person who was loved by all. She always put others first, taking great concern about them and their families.  Fanny's family was also a priority, and she remained close to her six sisters and two brothers throughout her life.

Having grown up in England, Fanny completed her training in nursing, (as did her twin Robbie and other sister Gerry). She eventually moved to Australia where she would meet her husband Allan and have their daughter Kitty. They shared many good times in Sydney, but ultimately moved to Allan's home city of Toronto, Canada in 1969. Their son Michael was born in 1972 and  and the family moved to Village Greenway where they have remained.

During their time in Toronto Fanny made many friends, touching many with her warm nature and good spirit. There was much travel to see new places and family, and the tragic passing of Kitty in 1977. She always kept her spirits up though, and as with everything, approached things with a positive acceptance, enjoying life and loved ones until the time of her passing.
