This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Catherine (Katie) O'Hara who was born on February 21, 1909 and passed away on September 20, 2003. We will remember her forever.
Catherine was a fighter to the very last breath, a devoted mum, gran and great great gran sadly missed by all that knew her. I loved her like a mum and I know many other people did too when Gran passed on it created a hole in many hearts and I know tears are still shed for you today.
Peacfully in Leeds Road hospital you took your finally breath and went to rest in the arms of your late husband Austin O'Hara. May God keep you both in eternal peace and keep you safe until we meet again.

I rember the nights we use too stay with u when mum was poorly u always brought us those letter sweets and always have ginger nuts in the tin i rember in a morning you,d have a bowl n soap ready for us to have our morning wash i also rember the tin bath u had in the old house staying with you was always fun you always took our minds off what was going on at home and made us feel safe , i rember when moon boots came out you had a pair u didnt care they was for the youger people you wore them with pride and joy every eveing you said your prays and good night to grandad
