Today is one year since my mom passed away.  I miss her. I'm truly glad to have my girlfriend Amanda in my life.  She's really been there for me. 

I will miss u Catherine bc u were very nice and friendly to everyone who was around u i will think about u everyday of my life

Happy birthday Mom. I miss you. I'm sure you're up there with my dad right now.

During the last few months my mom was going through many problems. In December she experienced her 2nd stroke. She lost most of her memory and couldn't speak. After a month or so I found out from her speech therapist she was speaking again and I believed that she was going get better. I knew in my heart she wouldn't be the same as she was before she had her stroke but it seemed like she was showing much improvement. I got to see her a week before she passed away and I was surprised how good she was doing. She hugged me twice and I was holding her hand the whole time I was there with her. The nurse who brought her down from her room told me that when she told my mom I was there to visit her she started crying and I believe she knew me and she was telling me that she was glad to see me before she left to go to heaven. 

Mom I love you and miss you. You and dad didn't have a lot of money but you both gave me the best thing ever. Your love for me as your son.
