Mama Lawunmi

March 5, 2021
I really never understood the relationship between Mama Olawunmi and I until Lawunmi and I got into trouble this fateful day. We went to an illegal party outing and came back late. My late father Chief Emiola Adesina decided to beat me, so I followed Lawunmi home to avoid being beaten. I begged Mama Lawunmi to help me beg my father which she did when he came to pick me up. It was on the way home my father told me that he would not beat me because his cousin asked him not to. That was how I found out that I was related to the Oladeji's.
From that day their home was opened to me. Got an earful of counsel from mama and I cannot but mention her name in the story of my life. My biography will not be complete without her.
Mama was very kind, loving and forthright. She says what she wants and means what she says. She surely shall be missed.
Rest in peace mama.

Mama Catherine Oladeji- Abiyamo rere

March 5, 2021
I met mama through one of her daughter's,Olawunmi who happens to be my friend. Myself,Lawunmi and my elder sister, Pastor Mrs Bimbola Babatunde went to Lagos with mama, I can never forget the motherly love she displayed throughout the trip. She was so concerned about our welfare that I kept telling my sister several years after, how wonderful mama is. She's a real mother, very protective of her children and always there for them. Mama has left us ,but she will forever be remembered for her good works.
