Her Life
November 5, 2015

Mrs. Morris was born in Cedartown, Georgia on June 8, 1932, the daughter of the late Arti Missy Sanders Blair and James Thomas Blair. For all of her adult life she had been a wife and mother. Her greatest joy in life was preparing wonderful meals with all her family gather round to enjoy the fruits of her wonderful cooking!. She loved working in the yard, and when her children were growing up she had huge gardens from which she canned delicious vegetables that they would enjoy throughout the year. In the fall she especially enjoyed raking and burning the leaves in her yard. The brisk fall air made her feel at one with the Lord she worshiped and adored. She was a member of Glenn Haven Baptist Church in Decatur, Georgia, but enjoyed worshiping at Centralhatchee Baptist Church when her health had permitted. She was a loving mother and grandmother, and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by two daughters, Cathy McDowell (Robert) of Franklin, GA., and Deborah Weakly (Cris) of Taccoa, GA.; two sons, Charles Morris (Rose) of Franklin, GA., and Tommy Morris of Douglassville, GA.; eight grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her beloved husband and son, Charles Edward Morris and Kenneth Morris.
