It has been said that there is no Love like a Mothers Love. The Blessed Mother loved her son Jesus and He loved her in return. Its hard to grasp that level of Love . A Mother sacrificing her son and in return the Son sacrificing for all.

My Mother loved all of her children , even to a fault of we could do no wrong.

My Mother loved all her children equally, or that's what she always said. When I would ask her if she loved me more than my siblings Mom would always ask me if I Love any of my children more than the others.

Towards the later years my Mother would just answer me "No I don't love you the most". I knew differently because of two important facts.

#1 My parents kept having children until they reached perfection.
#2 They also kept having children until they made one that they liked !

Not sure if anyone can actually contradict that point . :)

Mom knew Jesus on a first name basis and for that I find peace in knowing that my Mother will eventually enter into Heaven to spend eternity in the presence of God. All were blessed to have known her and she blessed all she met. I will continue to pray for my mothers soul and for all those who have begun the journey home.

Mom and I talked about religion on a regular basis and would always talk about the importance to pray for souls in purgatory awaiting entry into Heaven. Please continue to pray for Moms soul and to also pray for those who have no one left alive to pray for them. Especially those 1 prayer away of getting into Heaven. Imagine the Joy of a soul waiting on 1 last prayer to get into Heaven ? Imagine the gratitude that soul would have for those that prayed for their release and entry ?

Mom I Love you and thank you for all you taught me and what you didn't teach me.

Her Life

Catherine “Kitty” DiPasquale

November 2, 2023
Catherine “Kitty” DiPasquale, 95, of Howell passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, Oct 28th , 2023. Kitty was born in Jersey City, NJ, and had been married to her husband Charles (Chuck) for 72 years. They had moved to Howell in 1970 and she lived in Howell until her passing.
Kitty was a stay-at-home mom who had raised her 11 children. She was a woman of strong Catholic faith, and she loved music. At any given family event, she would be the one singing and clapping along to the music. For her 90 th birthday celebration, we had brought in a local ragtime band to play, and she was in her glory. She had an open-door policy and loved it when people would come over to see her. She would sit for hours over a cup of tea or coffee just chatting away. She loved to play card games, but she especially loved her trips to Atlantic City with her husband to play the slot machines. She would sit for hours playing the slot machines and making friends with whoever happened to be sitting nearby.
Kitty was pre-deceased by her husband Chuck, and her son Dan DiPasquale. She is survived by her children, Charles DiPasquale Jr, John & Debbie DiPasquale, Pat & Rich Hawkins, Gary & Mona DiPasquale, Susan & John Fagioli, Linda & Wally Clayton, Ray & Marie DiPasquale, Gene & Tracey DiPasquale, Carolyn & Mike Culloo, Chris & Tricia DiPasquale, adopted son Bob & Carol Johnston, 27 grandchildren and great-grandchildren and her sister Jenie York. Kitty had a very large extended circle of nieces and nephews, family, and many close friends, and will be dearly missed by all. She was a wonderful Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Aunt, and friend to many.
Arrangements are under the direction of the DiCostanzo family owned, Lakewood Funeral Home, 6250 Highway 9, Howell, NJ.
A Roman Catholic Funeral Mass will be held at St Veronica’s RC Church in Howell, NJ on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at 10 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Deborah Hospital Foundation.
