On June 18, 2017, Cathlyn Annette Weir went to be with the Lord. She was a beautiful soul who always put others before herself. She devoted her life in helping children with special needs. She was born July 13, 1970 in Houston, Texas. She graduated from Friendswood High School in 1988 and from Baylor University in 1992.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Edward Weir Jr. and Marilyn Annette Dobbs Weir of Arlington, Texas. She is survived by her son, Thomas Fierro of New Jersey, her brother Troy Weir of Brenham, Texas. She is also survived by nephews Joshua Stevens of Dallas, Texas, Blake Weir of Wharton, Texas, niece Alyssa Weir of Brenham, Texas and numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends.

We will celebrate her life on August 5, 2017 at the family cemetary in Bald Prarie, Texas at 10:00 am. Everyone is invited to attend.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask that you make a donation in her name to the Autism Society at https://www.autism-society.org.

Please feel free to post any pictures you may have and any stories that you would like to share.

When I knew Cat, she wore a big beautiful smile and was incredibly fun-loving. The kids in her class loved her and most often were learning through fun and play. She was sensitive and loving and adored Thomas, who was always on her mind. Sending love to Thomas and Cat's friends and family. -from a NJ friend xo
