Catrice Lynette Loyal was born November 29, 1973 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Charles E. Toran and Margaret A. Culpepper. She moved to Atlanta, Georgia with her family while still a young child. Catrice graduated from Benjamin E. Mays High School in the Spring of 1992. Following her graduation, she attended Georgia Southern University. For the past 11 years, Catrice has held the position of Work Scanner Operator with PNC Bank.
Catrice entered holy matrimony with Silvester Loyal sixteen years ago on March 1 st , 2004. They resided in Clayton County, Georgia where they raised two beautiful daughters as well as her five wonderful stepchildren. While living in Forest Park, Georgia, Catrice became known as the community mom. Other parents trusted that their children were well taken care of while in her presence.
Of the many activities Catrice enjoyed, whether it was cooking for her family, traveling or participating in game nights, the ones based around her family were the most precious to her. Catrice would make sure everyone was well fed during the holiday seasons, birthday parties or just a lazy day around the house. Each year Catrice ensured her family had fabulous vacations during spring break and she made them the best times for everyone on family cruises. Catrice also shared many laughs with those who enjoyed her sharp sense of humor. Her family and friends will testify to her compassion and unconditional love for her family.
Catrice will be survived by her husband: Silvester Loyal Sr.; daughters: Chazmyn and Anaiya Loyal; mother: Margaret Culpepper; father: Charles Toran; stepchildren: Silvester Loyal Jr, Andrew Durr, Tavious Parks, DeAngelo Durr (YP) (gone but not forgotten) and Audrey Anna Loyal; and siblings: Tonia Brown and Carl Culpepper Jr. She will also be sorely missed by a host of other loving cousins, nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and friends.

My Dear Dear Trice,

You were more than my cousin you were my baby sister. It is unbelievable that I will not be able to see your beautiful face and hear your sweet laughter ever again. I'm going to miss our talks and your presence at family gatherings. If it means that I have to hurt and be in pain so that you don't have to I will gladly do so for you my sister. Rest, until I see you again.

ODE TO MY SISTER

Caring with a loving soul
A beautiful person in and out
True parent that ages but never gets old
Real without a doubt
Imperfections we all have our faults
Circumstances on how you live thru it
Equivalent to how you fought and how rough times become the truest

Learn from your mistakes
Yes we all not perfect
No leaning to the hate
Extend the good times
To make a happier place perfect
The love we share now has a mellow tone, she
Exits but enters a new world in and from a great home

Beautiful I can’t express this enough
Remember the laughs we all had
Open to better circumstances
Way too young to see you go
Now I have to take a grasp on that

Loving unconditionally
Offers her last to see you happy
Yes we all love you Trice
And appreciate every minute of your
Life to keep us all laughing

Catrice, I'm going to truly miss you...your warm personality and sense of humor, but what I'm going to miss most is our Saturday morning talks at work and me getting you breakfast even when you told me you were good. I know God make no mistakes but this is hard for me, I know now that you are safe in Gods arms. Rest well Catrice and keep soaring.

Mommy I knew you were one of the main people on my team when you saw that I didn’t want to walk to the store by myself so you walked for me by yourself. I’ve always knew you were my biggest supporter because whatever I wanted to do, you always encouraged me to do what I feel is best. I love and miss you so much mommy bopper (our inside joke thing.)

My Dear Trice! I thought of you as a sister not just my cousin.

"God looked around his garden and found an empty place
He then looked down upon the Earth and saw your tired face
He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest
With the help of his angels they flew you to your heavenly place."

Love you and miss you so much!

Happy Birthday Cousin!

Hey Trice!

I know you are here in Spirit and in our hearts and wanted to wish you a Happy Birthday!

Miss you girl!

Who Pregnant!!??

February 7, 2020
For several months, every weekend Trice and I would go sell things at the flea market and so that we wouldn't have to use the disgusting porta potty (ya'll know they are disgusting) we would not drink or eat anything for about 5 to 6 hours. This strategy didn't seem to work for Trice because she still would have to use the restroom about every 30 minutes to an hour. She would ask, "Why I gotta keep going to the restroom I didn't eat or drink anything?"
I would just chuckle and say I don't know but I am glad I don't have to go.
On one of those same days another vendor came over with small talk and asked, "which one of ya'll are pregnant?" Trice and I busted out laughing and joking ain't nobody pregnant. After the vendor left we talked about how crazy she was and she didn't know what she was talking about.
A couple weekends later after being at the flea market we decided to go to Long Horn and have lunch. When the waitress came to take our drink order I ordered a cocktail and Trice ordered water. I was puzzled and said,"ok what's the real drink?"  She said, "girrrrlllll I'm PREGNANT!"
