Darling Sis!
What a rude shock. I looked back in WhatsApp and we still sent each other Christmas greetings. I was so engulfed in my own grief at Mom’s passing that I did not realize that I didn’t hear back from you in March when I sent out info about her tribute website et al. Little did I know that I would soon be writing your tribute on the same site.
You were always an angel. You reached out to me last year to see if I’d heard about CBD so that I could try it for MS. Little did I know…
You will always be remembered as the saint that you were, and now you’re reigning with him in glory.
Till we see again in heaven Sis.

Aunty Bola, I just heard some minutes back that you had gone to be with the Lord. Thank you for being such a radiant witness of the love of God and for encouraging us young christians growing up in OAQ staff quarters. I know you are resting with the Lord now and comfort myself in that. We are praying for Uncle Misan and the boys that God will strengthen, comfort and encourage them with His peace that passes understanding. Thank you for leaving a bright legacy of faith..

Dear Bola
Omg! I was beyond shocked when I heard of your passing. Though life took us on different paths you were always on my mind. I made several attempts to locate you with no success.
Dear friend, thanks for your friendship during our teenage and early adult life growing up in unife(OAU) campus. You brightened my days with your kind gestures. Your friendship was very much appreciated.
Rest In Peace my friend!!!!

My darling aburo, missing you so much, already!... Truth be told, though, I guess I started "missing you" when we lost the blessed accompaniment of your angelic, super-sonorous voice at our Livingspring Worship Team rehearsals...

I am consoled, beloved, by the SURE fact that when "mortality" must have put on "immortality", not only will you be given a far superior voice, we will sing our Father's praise, on and on - no other commitments distracting us - throughout eternity!

Take your well-earned rest, sweet Bola, in the bosom of the One who understands ALL things...

Adieu Bola. Knowing you has been a blessing and encouragement in the way of the Lord.
We shared so many things from the days in Great Ife, ECU fellowship, to NCCF Benue State, where you were the intrepid only sister in the Transport Unit (known as Mama Faith). Together, we completed the Benue Call of rugged, rural and relevant evangelism.
Later to my surprise and joy, you married my Lagos flat mate and church member Misan after he moved to Ife.
You were always cheerful, optimistic and faithful. I will definitely miss your calls hailing me "Papa Sean'.

Pls wait for us to join you in the saints triumphant to continue the fellowship in eternity. We will also complete our assignment and rejoice together at our Master's feet.

Though your time here was short, we thank God all the same. May your soul find rest with your creator whom you served so well!

Rest well Beloved

Bola, our Sister in the Lord, a very faithful worker in the vineyard of the Lord. You were ever ready to be of help at the annual Livingspring programme that takes place at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. Two important roles you played were one of the "purse keepers" on account of your proven integrity and "worship team" member. In connection with the latter, you sang along with Professor Kunle Kehinde the popular song of 'Arugbo Ojo' during one of the Livingspring music festivals. You were well known at Love Fellowship with your various contributions. This was held every Thursday at the home of Professor and Mrs. Kehinde on Obafemi Awolowo University campus staff Quarters. You graciously accepted to continue the Love Fellowship. You used every available opportunity to discuss about accounting matters with Ronke. Your professional insight assisted many to organize their shareholdings when that economic sector was still viable. Bola, we will all miss you, your smiles, beauty, hardwork, family affairs and love. May the Lord be with our dearly beloved Brother Misan, the children, extended family and the Church of God.

I’m grateful that I saw you again in the mid 20s in London.
Rest well Sis and I pray God’s comfort, peace and strength upon your husband, children, mum, siblings and other loved ones.

All glory to God for a life well spent. Sis Bola was a woman who served the Lord diligently throughout her life time. She was a true child of God. She took up many responsibilities every where ; at the Livingspring Music Festivals, Love Fellowship, All Souls Chapel, The Tabernacle of Praise, etc. May the good Lord comfort the family and grant them the needed strength to continue to serve the Lord. Sis Bola continue to rest in the bosom of the Almighty.

Good night my sister from another mother, l never knew that your call to me about two months ago asking me a pertinent question "Have you forgotten your mum?" referring to mama Alao, in which l answered how could a daughter forgets her mum was a way of handling over mama to me. I promise my dear sister that by God's special grace l will continue to play the role of a good daughter as you played it well, you were the type of a daughter every parent desires to have. I pray God will take care of your children in Jesus name (Amen). I am deeply touched by your demise but my consolation is that we are going to meet to part no more on the resurrection day. Farewell to a God fearing, nice, industrious, versatile, enterprising, respectful, charming and charitable sister.   Dr (Mrs) Funmi Adelusola.

Tribute from The Tabernacle of Praise Children’s Ministry.

Words cannot adequately express the deep loss that the death of Mrs Bola Egbe has brought to the Tabernacle of Praise Children’s Ministry (TOPCM).
We started the ministry together in the year 2007. Since then, she solidly held the position of the Accountant of the Ministry with sincerity of purpose.
She did not only spend for the ministry, she ensured that any money received was judiciously spent and well accounted for. No money could be withdrawn without her thorough scrutiny and final  approval.
Also as the overall Head of the Kitchen Department, she put in her best to ensure that the thousands of children and all the people in attendance at the yearly festival of the ministry were adequately catered for. She, on many occasions, personally raised funds for the scholarship section of the ministry.
It is still like a dream to the trustees and the members of the ministry that she is no longer physically present in our midst. We are however sure that she is enjoying her reward with the Almighty God, the rewarder of those who diligently seek Him and that she is wearing a crown with the logo of the Tabernacle of Praise Children’s Ministry boldly  inscribed on it.
We will never forget her selfless services to the ministry.
May the good Lord comfort her husband, who is also a staunch member and a Pilar in the ministry, her children, her mother and all her loved ones.
BOLA, may your gentle soul rest in perfect peace till we meet to part no more.

Our darling old school mate and sister was one of us who gained admission to the prestigious Comprehensive High School, Ayetoro in Ogun State in September 1975 and passed out in 1980.
Bola Alao , as we fondly called her was an amazing and amiable personality to relate with who would not hurt a fly.
She was a Long Jumper, representing both Green House and Hostel 2 at Sporting competitions.

Although it was our desire to link up with her and our other mates but it has pleased God to call her home.

We pray God will comfort the immediate family and others she left behind.

It is our tradition to render our School Anthem at times like this.

Sister Bola Egbe, a rare child of God, mother, sister and wife. Diagnosed of a rare ailment about 15 years ago, which affected her immune system, many would have passed away long time ago but not her. She was full of faith and she loved the Lord passionately.
Even in her ailment, she was very active in the Love Fellowship, faithful in her office and in her businesses. She was a peaceful and an exemplary woman indeed.
She believed she would make it to a much older age and she lived her faith. But then, who can query the all-knowing God?
She was surrounded by love. Mama, her husband, her wonderful brothers and children loved her but God loves her even more.
Free at last from constant pains. Home at last with Daddy. Home to the atmosphere of heaven where she is constantly satisfied by God’s breath that needs no oxygen.
Rest in Perfect peace.

We have lost a wonderful loving sister, God fearing, an achiever, business oriented, goal getter, easy going & soft spoken child of God. Sister Bola, you really served your maker with all your heart and with every strength in you in order to impact your generation. Devoted born again. A woman of great virtues and exemplary characters.
Your trumpet sounded on May 14, 2021, and it sounded very loud with angels welcoming you home onto eternity.
Your last text message to me on WhatsApp says “ Pls keep the fire burning”. By His grace l will keep the fire burning in the LORD.
The entire family will forever remember you till we meet in Heaven.
Continue to rest in His bosom.

Aunty Bola,
It's still shocking as the day I received a call that morning and was told that Aunty B had gone to be with the Lord...
I can remember growing up, Aunty Bola was ever present...coming to assist my parents with my siblings and I when they were out of town...
I can recall her asking me on that fateful day, "Sewa, would you join GCK?"
I joined and it was great and wonderful learning from her. Even when she wasn't feeling too good, Aunty Bola would come for decoration meetings. One of my fond memories of her was a time when we had decoration to do and even when she was tired, sat on the carpet by the altar and did a beautiful smoking decoration on the altar table cover. Her love for God's work was evident.
She was a great and faithful lover of God and all that had to do with his church.
She showed it at all times.
She was a great mother...her love for her family was shown.
Aunty B, you ran the race and came out victorious... I take solace in knowing that you knew God and God knows you...we love you but God loves you best. You'll forever remain in my
Rest on Aunty Bola.

Her impact, influence and breeze of affection are immensely appreciated. May God grant her eternal rest. Adieu my beloved sister.

She was pictured fulfillment and efficacy of enlightened motherhood who cherished education and who never denied me of her support.

Sis Bola,
A dear sister, friend and motivator. you will be greatly missed. You watched Banji and I grow from close friends to become Family during our University days and even helped to settle disagreements and quarrels while being a sweetheart to me.( You always sided me).
Oh! u were kind, gentle yet firm and opinionated. You were our big sis yet would back down and watch us make our mistakes only to say something encouraging rather than say...I told u so.
You were so loving towards me
You were so caring and trusting too
I never expected you will leave this soon cos I should've gotten closer, said more to u than I did and certainly have shown much love than I did.
Il miss u my special sister cos ur dedication to people u love is second to none.
Rest in peace...Sista Bola (as you are fondly called). You're gone too soon!!!!

Was so glad that you were better and back home.....what a shock. But it is well. You were a very nice lady, never heard you raise your voice once, so soft-spoken. You treated me with such dignity. You were a Sister, not a Sister-in-law.
Our own little joke was that I was one week older than you!!!!
You always said...." I am healed"..... yes you are.
Love you " B".....

The sudden news of your demise came as a shock to me. My first encounter with you was in 2013 when I was transferred from North Central Office, Abuja to the Headquarters, Ile-Ife, but I never knew we were related until my uncle in Abuja told me your Aunt is in NACETEM HQ. After that information, we became a bit close and you usually asked to see you. “Aburo” as you fondly called me. You were a kindhearted soul, but it is unfortunate that things had to be this way. All is well and God knows best. You will forever be in my heart, Aunt Bola….

It is very painful to lose you. You were such a kind soul, who wanted peace at all times. You desired happiness for yourself and others. You were a big sister to many, always asking after the family. I had several personal encounters with you regarding work and life. Anytime you haven't seen me for a while, you will always ask me 'Mr Olawale, o wa ki mi'. I remember our last office conversation, when you told me to please facilitate support staff for your office, so that you can pursue many of your laudable intentions to ensure better service delivery at NACETEM. Such was your zeal for work, even in the face of the debilitating health challenges. You lived to improve humanity; the evidence speaks for itself. Rest on Mrs Egbe.
