TRIBUTE TO OUR DEARLY BELOVED WIFE: CECILIA GINGER-EKE

“All deaths are sudden, no matter how gradual the dying maybe.” ― Michael McDowell

The heart-rending news about your demise came as a rude shock to us. Dying so suddenly to the evil hands of COVID-19 has left a big hole in our hearts.

We never really got to say that final goodbye and tell you how much we loved you and appreciated all the things you did as a wife, sister-in-law and mother.
You were loved by one and all, far and near, yet the Ginger-Eke family is left with only memories that live and might fade away. We will remember you always.

We recall with nostalgia how family members who gathered for the annual family meeting last year overfeed themselves on the sumptuous meals you prepared to ensure we had a great Christmas experience. Sadly, it turned out to be our last Christmas with you.

Words cannot express the depth of pain and love. However, we shall take solace in the words of Jack Thorne, “Those we love never truly leave us. There are things that death cannot touch.”

Adieu, Cecilia!
Adieu, Sister in – law!
Adieu, Our Beloved Sister!

Signed

Francis Ginger-Eke

I was so sad and full of grief when I heard about your demise. But as we all know as Christians "there is time for everything" and "everything happens for a reason", and there's nothing we could do to bring you back but we all believe you're resting in the bosom of your heavenly father. R.I.P Aunt

TRIBUTE TO ONE SO DEAR IN OUR HEARTS
On behalf of Umu Ude Okwogho; your brothers and sisters from Ezi Onya Amuro, I pay this tribute of love, filled with profound memories of your remarkable sojourn on earth.
It was indeed with great shock and disbelief that I received the news of your demise that early morning hour of the 2nd day in February, 2021. As human, I did try to wish away the sad news that you are gone forever among us, but the stark reality of death as a necessary end that will come when it will remains immutable and my doubts gave way. However, yours was certainly unexpected.
My heart grieves when I remember that you have gone forever beyond this realm to be with the Lord. Your meek and tender loving kindness would be greatly missed by those among us whom you freely gifted that rare quality of yours to. Nevertheless we take solace in the fond memories of your life among us and in our belief in the promises of eternal reunion in a better home prepared for the saints by our Savior and Redeemer Jesus Christ. I am therefore reassured in His victory over death and that we shall finally meet to part no more.

Goodbye Ugo Irem,
Goodbye Dear Sister!

It’s hard to put into words how I feel about your passing, you were with us last year December during the 11 years remembrance of my late mum, I can’t help wondering why some are snapped up in an instant. They’re here one moment and then they are gone.

it is hard to believe that the angels have taken you home at a time we least expected. We hardly take in the fact that your sudden demise has unexpectedly terminated the moments we enjoyed with you. You left a hollow no one can ever fill halfway.

Auntie Cecilia, you are a beautiful flower plucked from the flower bed to be a sweet-smelling savor in the presence of your maker. You always called to pray for me when I was hospitalized, and you kept reminding me of God's promises and plans for his children. You were a role model, I can proudly say that you left footprints in the sands of time. Admittedly, we have lost a precious jewel.

Fare thee well Mrs Cecilia Ginger Ekeh.
Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure, you are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.

My blvd sister, Cecilia Ugo Ginger--Eke it has been 5 months since you left us. Days have turned into weeks, then into months, and it's like it's just yesterday to me. Can't believe I'm writing this! Can't believe I'm saying good night forever, can't believe I'm saying Rest in peace to a good woman of God! my beloved friend and sister; and to my good sister in-law. The vacuum your departure created is so..o..o huge and the shoes you left, nobody yet to take it up, because of your unique way of lifelihood. Your demise by the cold hand of death after a brief illness is still a rude shock to us. This stark reality has really pirsed my heart like an arrow. But I am being consoled by the excellent life, full of God's glory you lived and the love you shared beyond measure. I know that you are in a better place. We lost you but heaven gained. Farewell worthy servant of the Most High till we meet again according to this scripture; 1Thess 4:13--18. I have stopped grieving like person without hope, since I believed that Jesus died and was raised to life again. Rest on worthy soldier of the cross. Your spirit lives forever.. oh woman of faith! Your memory will never fade in my heart. We love you dearly and will forever miss you. Goodnight sister!!!

Mrs Cecilia Ginger-Eke, you were such a loving and caring soul, a cheerful giver who never got tired of giving. Your demise is disheartening but God knows why he allowed it. Rest on my lovely Sister in-law, till the resurrection morning.

Mrs Cecilia Ugo Ginger Ekeh was a rare gem. She was kind and loving; a pillar of compassion and a source of inspiration to the entire Irem family and Nde Ehihia Okoro dynasty and all who came in contact with her.

As humans we appreciate the pains the children and entire family members must be going through as a result of her Exit and we urge you to accept the biblical injunction that in all things we should give thanks to God. Let us therefore look beyond the immediate pains and thank God tremendously for allowing her live a fruitful and fulfilled life.

On behalf of my Family, the management and staff of Christomou Associates, please accept our sincere condolence.

Sister Ginger-Eke as I used to call her was an epitome of love. I came in contact with this rare gem over 19 years ago when we met as members of compassion district of st. Peter's Presbyterian Church of Nigeria, where she preached love and unity among members. Ginger Eke fell in love with me and the entire family and handled all of us as her own biological children. Ginger Eke was a real child of God who never believed in any impossibility with God. She followed me in prayers all through my wilderness experience and assured me of God's faithfulness. Ginger Eke was my Barnabas (Sister of Encouragement).
She was addicted to prayer, generosity and Godly counsel.
Infact, she was an inspirational child of God. Sis Ginger, The product of your prayer Zaram and Pastor Emmy, their Dad and I will miss your motherly care and advice. But we are consoled that you exited a fulfilled soldier of Christ.
To her children Nne, Chibuike snr, Abuchi and Chekwube, I urge you to take solace in the legacies she left behind. To her grand children, Valentino, Adanna and  Chibuike jnr. May the Almighty God bless you and restore good memories of your caring grandma in you always. Adieu my mentor,Rest on my confidant and my counselor until the resurrection morning.
