I met Celeste after she and Dave were married. Her warmth and humor made us quick friends. We would talk online about our families and the things of the day. When she first found out she had cancer, she bravely took it on and all that went with it. What a relief that was when she told me she had beaten it. We thought it would be gone for good, but that wasn't the case. She was so overjoyed at becoming a Grandma and loved them so much. She would show off her pictures and they were such a delight. You know she was a proud momma and g-ma. She loved her family intensely and they loved her back as much. She was a spiritual and faithful wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend. I had been missing our conversations for a long time and Dave was kind enough to keep me updated on things. Celeste courageously fought with all she had, my heart breaks for her and everyone who's lives she touched. Jesus gives us a faith strengthening hope at John 5:28,29 where he says that those who have died will be resurrected. I am looking forward to that day. I will finally meet Celeste face to face and we will have much more to talk about.
