Big Heart

Gone so soon, Cel. Our family-like relationship cut short by your early departure. But it was enough time to know how big your heart is. Not enough words can describe how much you will be missed. And we don’t even know how to explain to Obadah that he will not see you anymore and that you are in a better place. We pray that Chelo and LA will have the strength to carry on your legacy. We love you.

Mediocre, Not.

“There are too many mediocre things in life, love shouldn’t be one of them.”
I can still remember the day she wrote them down to a piece of white paper and handed it to Chelo and me on one summer I was privileged to be part of the Bendichos holiday trip to Club Manila East.
Funny as we did not understand the word mediocre then until she explained the word, then the entire context to us. Apparently, this whole scenario is remembered up to this date and will forever remain as it brought me light and better understanding of what really matters – what SHOULD matter.
I have known her to be tough. Her love was tough. Tough love. Why? It was not mediocre.
