Her Life
March 1, 2018

Mom was born in New Jersey, to Charles and Eleanor Graf. She graduated from Haddon Heights High School in 1957.

Mom's "claim to fame" was as a dancer on Dick Clark's American Bandstand in Philadelphia.

She married my Dad, Alfred Page in 1958. I arrived in 1960!

Together, they were on the ambulance squad and taught first aid. Mom also worked part time for Dr. Bromley, who was a chiropractor.

In 1966, we moved to Indianapolis and my Mom worked full time so my Dad could attend and graduate from Lincoln Chiropractic College.

We moved to Greencastle, Indiana and together they started his practice and purchased a new home!

Sadly, they divorced in 1970 but Mom was so strong and independent! Attended college and became Superintendent of Waste water treatment plant. She worked there 20 plus years. Won several awards.

October 27, 1972 Mom married Dallas Nichols and we moved from the city to a dairy farm! Dallas had 3 children, Debbie, Terry and Beth.   They began showing horses... including the World Champion Paint Horse!

Years of showing horses, cooking out with family and friends, gardening both vegetables and flowers and winning many awards at the Putnam county fair!

She became "Macca" to grandchildren Matthew 1984 and Danielle 1989.

The Nichols Family grew with 8 grandchildren and then great grandchildren!

Baking Christmas cookies, hunting mushrooms, gardening, making holidays special, horses, dogs especially Toby and Merle, family and friends..

Mom's health declined in 2010 when she was diagnosed with Pulmonary Hypertension.  Oxygen 24/7. But...she made a bucket list and WE DID IT!

Beach vacation, hot air balloon ride, Colts game... she LOVED it!

Dallas cared for Mom with such tender loving care for 2 years.  She received her final wish, to pass away at home. Dallas and I were there, March 1st at 3:15 pm.

She did it her way....strong and independent!

Great grandson Theo was born June 20, 2017.  I know she's smiling from Heaven watching over us!

I believe there ARE Angels Among Us...and You should be here.

So loved... so missed.
