Ventura - Charlene Coleman Holmes Fryer 82, died peacefully with daughters Kathy and Jean at her side on April 19, 2014. She was born on March 05, 1932 in Brigham City, Utah the youngest of 3 sisters and 4 brothers of Thomas William & Ella Rees Coleman.
She attended Box Elder High School. Married George W. Holmes on March 29, 1950 in Corinne, Utah. They were later divorced. They had 5 children, 16 grandchildren and 44 great grandchildren.
She later married Richard Fryer in 1994 in Roy, Utah.
She worked hard raising her family and worked many years dipping chocolate for the Idle Isle Cafe in Brigham City, Ut.
She was a faithful member of the LDS church and served in many positions.
Charlene is survived her husband Richard Fryer, a sister in law Cheryl Reeves, her 5 children: Bob Holmes, Jill Hopper, Jean (Richard) Eberspecher, David (Earlene) Holmes, Kathy (Karl) Kersker and her step children Kenneth Fryer, Susan (Mike) Marquez, and David Fryer. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by siblings: Maurine Coleman Fryer, Vernon (Mary) Coleman, Merna (Earl) Coleman Reese, Clark Rees (Lilly) Coleman, Ruth Coleman (Vernal) Jeppesen, Ray (Lucille) Coleman and Rees Coleman, and her parents.

Family and friends met at the Brigham City Cemetery on Saturday,
July 19, 2014 at 11 a.m. for a graveside service to celebrate the life of Charlene Coleman Holmes. She will be missed by many and will be in our hearts forever.
