He was preceded in death by his parents, Opal Louise Franklin and A.D. Phillips, and his wife Frances Phillips. He is survived by his daughter Donna Raben; and sons, Scott Meadows (Alycia), and Doug Phillips (Kathy), 4 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.
