Charles Gary Long, 61, a longtime resident of Granville County passed away unexpectedly Thursday, January 6, 2019 at his home.

A native of Sullivan County, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Charles Alfred Long and Bonnie Kiser.  He was a member of Banks United Methodist Church as was self-employed in Construction.

Memorial services will be private.

Surviving are his wife, Annette Husketh Long of the home; a daughter, Ashleigh Nicole Husketh of Wake Forest; a son, Chad Shane Long (Tausha) of Franklinton; two grandchildren, Jordan Wayne Long, Hailey Renee Long and his mother, Bonnie K, Cohen of Franklinton and several nieces and nephews.
