Mr. Lindsey was born December 13, 1931 in Florida to the late Willie Joe Lindsey And the late Jo Mavis Hamlet Lindsey, he was a retired self employed plumber and electrician.

Survivors are his wife Betty Lindsey of LaFayette, Al.,  daughter Charlsey (Hoyt) Still of LaFayette, Al., son Joe (Ginger) Lindsey of Raleigh, NC, brother William "Bud" (Sue) Lindsey of Lanett, Al., 3 grandchildren  2 great grandchildren
