This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, Charles McGinnis 90 years old , born on December 9, 1928 and passed away on October 27, 2019. We will remember him forever.

Charles McGinnis was born in Hamilton, Ohio to Edward McGinnis who feel asleep in death when Charles was twelve years old. His mother Laura Morton McGinnis was left to raise Charles other siblings. Reatha McGinnis, Edna Lewis, Venice Turner, Bobby Westbrook, George McGinnis, Eugene McGinnis and Ronald McGinnis all deceased. Survived by sisters Cora McGinnis, Ruth Revere and Norma Smitherman.

After serving in the Army he married Lillian, the love of his life. In 2010, she preceded him in death after 54years of marriage. They had five children Angela McGinnis Smith children (Natina Henson, Yolanda Fletcher, Ryan Felder). Kathleen McGinnis Waller, her child (Diamond Waller) Charles McGinnis his children (Calebb Johnson, Jordan Speed, Trevor Alexander, Jakobe Justice) Monica McGinnis Waters her children (Monique Harris, Andre Morton, Christopher Morton) and Michael McGinnis (Megan Kimbro). Also, twelve great grandchildren and one great-great grandson.

Charles enjoyed being a truck driver for Valley Farms for 35 years. He also worked at various factories. Charles was a hard worker and started working at the age of 12 to support his family in Eaton, Ohio. He loved his family, taking walks in the park, feeding the birds, telling jokes and sharing a cold beer.

He was a advid student of Gods word the bible and his hope was to live forever in paradise.
