Mr. Myers was born in Lee County, Alabama September 13, 1929 to the late Samuel Alton Myers and the late Annie Lee Harmon Myers.

He was a US Air Force Veteran, a Member of the Providence Baptist Church in Lanett, Alabama, a charter member of the Huguley Lion's Club for 50 years, and a 50 year member of the Valley Masonic Lodge. He owned and operated Myers One Stop in Huguley for 35 years.

 Survivors are his wife Carolyn Myers of Lanett,  his son Charles "Al" (Dianne) Myers of Opelika, Al., sister Mary Parsons of Winston-Salem, NC.
