This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, Charles Porter  , born on September 29, 1934 and passed away on October 23, 2016. We will remember him forever. My dad is my best friend, my hero and my first true love. My dad was a veteran he served in the Korean War, he was also a Lifetime fireman. He helped design Silver Hills 1968 Seagraves he loved being a fireman and a Chief. He also loved animals and was the director at the Human Society in High Point NC. He adopted so many dogs from puppy Mills and the shelter. He loved all his fur babies. My dad also had the need to help people, he would dress up like Santa Clause and he made sure all children had a Christmas. Which is why in Dad's memory I created adopt a needy family in Maryland. I try to carry on his name by making sure children have a Christmas.
