PUTHOFF, Fr. Chad SDS - Age 78. Died March 24, 2022, in Birmingham, AL. Born to Carl and Margaret (Melcher) Puthoff on August 26, 1943, in Cincinnati, OH, he was one of three sons. Entered the Society of the Divine Savior (Salvatorians) on September 8, 1964. Ordained a priest on September 3, 1971. Ministered as teacher in Mishawaka, IN, and Racine, WI; in parish ministry in Racine; Elko, NV; Delevan, WI; Phoenix, AZ; West Sacramento, CA; and Cookeville, TN. Much of his ministry was with Spanish-speaking peoples. Preceded in death by his parents. Survived by brothers David (Barbara) and Joseph (Susan) of Cincinnati; four nieces and one nephew; and his brothers and sisters in the Salvatorian Family.


Funeral will be held on Monday, April 11, at Mother of Good Counsel Parish in Milwaukee, WI. Visitation: 10:00 AM. Funeral Mass: 11:00 AM. Interment of Ashes in Salvatorian Cemetery in St. Nazianz, WI: 3:00 PM.
