He departed this life January 5,2013 at Lake Martin Community Hospital in Dadeville, Alabama.

Charles leaves to cherish his memories: a loving wife, Jeanette Stone; four children, Charles Stone, Jr. (Stephanie) Dwayne Greathouse, (Allettia) Jack Dowdell, Corbin Stone; four brothers, (Rayford), Dorothy Stone (Calvin) Mary Stone, (Dewayne) Charlene Stone, Dennis Stone; four sisters, Mary Stone, Bertha Stone, (Patricia) Greg Potts, (Angela) Tony Kirk; grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
