“Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. See you there Pop rest up

When I moved to Atlanta in 1975 Charlie Ray gave me a ride (in his orange VW) to Atlanta Area Technical School to register for classes in Secretarial Studies. I was very appreciative of that ride because I had no other way to get there. Through the years, whenever we conversed, Charlie Ray would always talk about his work as a manager at K-Mart and later at Walmart with such passion and pride. God has called Charlie Ray home to eternal rest, but memories of him will stay with me forever. May you have everlasting peace, Charlie Ray!
"In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also..." JOHN 14:3 KJV
Charlie Ray, Rest In Peace in the eternal mansion.
Death may have taken you away from me, but my life's hero you'll forever be. Your memories will always live in the deep loving spirit of my heart forever. One day I will see you again in Jesus name amen.
Charlie Ray, may the angels that took you hold you in God's forever good graces until we meet again. God has called you to rest from all the days of work you did while here on earth. Thank you for all the help you gave me as we both started out our job careers upon graduation from Morris Brown in 1974. Thanks for the rides to work in your orange VW Bug when I had no way to get there except walking and catching the bus which would have taken nearly all day. Thanks also for all of the compliments you gave the Harpp family especially when you became a son-in-law and a brother-in-law and a husband to my sister Judy and a father to my nephew Gerald. May God rest your soul.
