Mr. Charlie W. Rutlin of Alexander City, Alabama died Sunday August 21st , 2011 at Russell Medical Center.

Mr. Charlie W. Rutlin was born July 27, 1947 in Randolph County, Alabama to the late Mrs. Anne Lee Tyler Rutlin and the late Mr, Charlie Will Rutlin.

He joined Union Chapel United Methodist Church at an early age.

He departed this life on August 21, 2011 at Russell Medical Center.

Mr. Charlie W. Rutlin leaves to cherish his memory: His wife, Mrs. Patricia Rutlin: Two sons: Charlie (Renese) Brooks of Louisiana and Charles W. Brooks of Alexander City, AL. Four daughters: Lavetta Glenn, Shelia Johnson, Marlyn Hawkins and Annie Brooks, all of Alexander City, AL. Three sisters: Ellen (Robert) Pierson of Lineville, AL; Geraldine (Johnnie) Boyd of Auburn, AL; Margaret (Samuel) Pearson of Alexander City, AL. One brother, Wallace (Sandra) Rutlin of Lineville, AL. One sister-in-law, Carolyn (Jurden) Holley of Alexander City, AL. Eleven (11) grandchildren. A best friend, Johnnie Tuck. A host of great grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral Service for Mr. Charlie W. Rutlin will be Friday August 26, 2011 2:00 p.m. at Union Chapel United Methodist Church in Wedowee Alabama. Burial will follow in the church Cemetery.
