Mr. Charlie Will Shealey was born January 13, 1945 to the parentage of the late Lonnie (Sr.) and Mattie Bandy Shealey. He departed this life on Monday, September 5, 2011 at his residence.

“Buddy”, as he was known to most was a product of the West Point Public Schools and was a member of the Harrison High School graduating class of 1964. After high school, he served four years in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict.
 

After serving in the U.S. Army, he continued his education by enrolling in Southern Union Jr. College, where he received a certificate in Brick Masonry.

Charlie Will was united in Holy Matrimony to Mary Louise Trammell on May 15, 1976.

He was a former employee of West Point Stevens Service Center, Midsouth Construction and the Troup County Board of Education.

Charlie Will accepted Christ as his Lord and Saviour and united with the Bethlehem Baptist Church under the leadership of the Rev. Dr. Willie T. Edmondson.

To know Charlie Will was to love him. He had many friends, young and old. He was a devoted husband and father.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving and devoted wife, Mary L. Shealey, West Point, GA; one son, Charles B. (Quetta) Shealey , North Point, AL; one daughter, Allessia Billingslea, Conyers, GA; two grandchildren, Charles A. Shealey, and Caleb Shealey, North Point, GA;two sisters, Phyllis Shealey, Katie Shealey, West Point, GA; two brothers, Lonnie Shealey, Jr. and Zellas Shealey, West Point, GA; two sisters-in-law, Marion McCauley, Brooklyn, NY; Sara Robinson, Houston, TX; one brother-in-law, Wallace (Bessie) Trammell, Houston, TX; four aunts, Connie Tarver, Nora Easley, Macon, GA; Mary T. Fannings, Lanett, AL, Annie P. Shealey, Atlanta, GA; five special nieces, Tammie Shealey, Marcy Shealey, Abby Shealey, Shawanda Murphy and Ariel Robinson, Houston, TX; two nephews, Dexter Shealey, Donald Winston, Jr., West Point, GA; a host of great nieces and nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends;
four Musketeers Tyrone Patterson, LaGrange, GA; George Lovelace, Lanett, AL, Levon Heard(Deceased).

Interment: Marseilles Cemetery
