Charlotte Elizabeth (Rasberry) Williams was called home to be with the Lord Saturday, December 3,2022.  Charlotte was born on August 12, 1935 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Samuel and Charlie Rasberry. Charlotte was affectionately referred to as Tiny.

Charlotte was raised in the Church of Christ along with her siblings. She attended P.L. Dunbar High School, a true Wolverine until she passed.  Previously she was an active member of the Democratic Voters League. For many years she presided over numerous polling places. She worked numerous jobs, from car repairing to bartending in several establishments. Her favorite job she always shared memories of was at Miami Valley Hospital, she worked in various positions. Working at Micro Devices until the company’s closure. Lastly, working at Dayton Mental Health Hospital, until her untimely retirement.

Charlotte enjoyed celebrating every holiday, especially Christmas. She decorated indoors and outdoors, cooking elaborate meals while listening to her Christmas music. The Rasberry family was known for their hospitality and delicious food, especially fried chicken.  Charlotte was always a stylish woman, known for exquisite home decor also. She loved the relationships shared with her nieces and nephews, the children she didn’t give birth to, but mothered none the less. She was known for being outspoken and opinionated. It’s just who she was and we Loved her. She lived life her way and her Legacy shall remain in our hearts forever more as she was the last of the Rasberry family dynasty.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents; sisters ,Vera McKinney, Laura Long, Florene Jackson, Juanita Bryant, Bernice Jackson and Bertha Calhoun; brothers, Samuel Rasberry Jr, William Rasberry and  Cecil Rasberry.

Charlotte is survived by , devoted nieces Margaret J. Booze and Kimberley Aaron; Caregiver and devoted nephew Lafayette Christian IV ; a host of Loving nieces and nephews , great ,great- great and great- great-great nieces and nephews;  cousins and friends.

The Celebration of Life will be on Friday, December 9, 2022 at Summit Christian Church, 4021 Denlinger Road, Trotwood, Ohio. Visitation begins at 11:00. Funeral Service is at 12:00 immediately followed by burial at Woodland Cemetery.
