Hi Sis:
I really miss you! Since your transition, it seems memories of you have visited upon me every day. Some were funny, some left me amazed at all the things we went through, and some have me wishing for do-overs! Rest in peace, dear sister. 

Uncle Ernest was there at your memorial Auntie, now he’s there with you and the rest of our heavenly family. His resting place will be at Abe Lincoln with J, Howard and Herman Lee. Still love and miss my Auntie. My alarm still goes off at 3:55 to remind me of our 4pm Zoom call to see you since we could not visit due to Covid. It’s a keeper, love and miss you so much Auntie and we will see you all again. Love Shellene❤️

My Dearest Auntie
  I will always remember your free and loving spirit which you passed on to your son Eric. I remember the many times you baked me cookies against my fathers wishes. I recall hurrying home because I knew you would have a treat for me. This experience I share with my youngest daughter Arora who bakes the cookies for me and every time i get a home made chocolate chip cookies I will smile an remember you.

To my loving Aunt Cheryl, you were always the one with the best laughs and experiences growing up. Whenever we visited Chicago every summer, it was Cheryl who always gave us a good and happy time. I do remember one time we was watching a real scary movie Called "Haunted House on the Hill and I went into the kitchen and there was this cat in the window with green eyes it somehow got into the kitchen and me, Tiny, Shacky and Cheryl was screaming and woke up the whole house and of course you know the rest, our butts was burned up from a whooping, but when I look back, it was so funny. When Cheryl visited KC, I always gave her something beautiful to take home because she was a beautiful soul, Cheryl may You rest in Beautiful Peace, in God our Father's hands.

❤️One of my favorite memories of my Auntie was when I was 9 years old and in the 3rd grade at Manierre Elementary School. There was a group of girls at school who were considered ‘Bad’ and they wanted to fight me, basically jump on me. I told them that I was going to get my big sister on them and they said, what’s her name and I said Cheryl. Because I had a big sister, they then asked me if I wanted to join them and I said yes. 

I couldn’t wait to get home and tell Momma…as I told my story, she stopped me and said, you don’t have a big sister. I said well, who is Cheryl and she said, “she is my little sister and your Auntie”. Okay, I never knew that until then…she lived with us, so how was I supposed to know, I was just a kid…you know they didn’t tell us nothing back then, lol! 

I love all my uncles and aunties, but Cheryl will forever be my big sister…Love and miss you Auntie!❤️

❤️❤️❤️Thank you Jesus for my Auntie’s life. She was a beautiful, carefree spirit and the best aka big sister for me and Lu. She was an unforgettable blessing in my life and always will be. She was loved and cherished dearly and I miss her always. And we will see her again, Glory to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! Hallelujah❤️❤️❤️

Dearest Cheryl:
Our sorrow is immeasurable. We miss you!  Yet we also know that the Lord knows best and He has called you to rest.  He says: "Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest… and peace that surpasses all understanding". We are comforted dear sister, that you now are in the Master’s hand. We shall cherish loving memories of you always.
