Dear Cheryl,
So sorry learning of your passing. I was doing research on our family history and came across this wonderful heart felt tribute of your beautiful life and your family.  You have a beautiful family. I wish our families were closer. The last time I think I saw you was at the funeral of Grandma Bard. I'm hoping are families can somehow get in touch. My father is the last of his family remaining. You and your family are in my prayers. Love your cousin. Daniei Bard. Danbard@hotmail.com

Louie and Cheryl, the memories came flooding back, Saunders, football games, Mrs Albertsons English class, watching MTV at Cheryl's house, and lots of good times. Although over 30 years has past I will always remember Cheryl as a kind, energetic and great friend. Louie my old friend, thinking of you and sending you lots of love.

The story of my life cannot be told without the story of Louie and Cheryl. We met in eighth grade and I watched as they fell in love and stayed that way for almost 30 years. We experienced so many "firsts" together as we moved from junior high to high school and then to college and beyond. Oh so many memories that I will always treasure. She will be sorely missed.

I will always remember Cheryl's bright smile and friendly personality. I remember talking to her about our respective jobs waaaayyyy back when she was working for Stroh's and I just remember that I thought she was so darn smart and capable and just such a wonderful, nice person. She will be so deeply missed by so many. Gary and I send our hugs and prayers to everyone who loved her.

This is a beautiful tribute to Cheryl. I will always remember her as the fun loving, welcoming, beautiful woman she was. The world is a little sadder place without her. Rest in peace Cheryl.

My Aunt Cheryl was and always will be a huge inspiration to me. She and Uncle Louie would take my sisters and I trick or treating every year, we would go snowmobiling up north, roller blading, go to there house and sit in the bowl chairs and play on the water bed. I have so many amazing memories with my Aunt Cheryle. I couldn't imagine my hold hood with out her light and smile. From karaoke at Grandma and Nonnps to holiday fun and family times. She always had something positive to add to every situation. When AJ and Lisa were born she was an amazing mother and our family continued to enjoy so many great memories. I know she will be with us forever and I love her with all of my heart. Love you Aunt Cheryle

She was somebody who took pleasures in the littlest things in life. She was very sweet, and I remember the tight hug she gave me on her last day in work. The world won't be the same without her. Rest in peace Cheryl. You are very loved.

I met Cheryl at a BU hockey game. As a newbie parent on varsity my husband and I didn't know anyone but I looked around and saw this petite woman sitting in the stands so I sat by her. I'm sure our first words to each other were "What happened? Why is the ref blowing his whistle? He was just going after the puck... and the kid just fell down...." Well my son was a freshman back then and now a senior and our BU hockey banquet is tonight. I've always boasted about hockey parents being a great group of parents and the Pivetta family was one of the first folks we met. They welcomed us and when I think of Cheryl her smile is the first thought that comes to mind. I don't have a good memory but I do remember Cheryl and her beautiful smile....

When she was 15 years old Louis Pivetta brought her home to meet the family that I was already lucky enough to be a part of and we all knew she was the perfect match for him. We all felt so blessed , when they married she had absolutely no problem having 5 flower girls!! Most brides would have worried about that situation! Not Cheryl she was so happy for family to be involved ! She and Lou were the best aunt and uncle to my children always! Every Halloween was their special time ! Her athleticism was always an inspiration! If that wasn't enough for us she gave birth to and raised two of the most wonderful human beings I am proud to call my family Aj and Lisa Pivetta! Cheryl was the model of kindness, caring and unconditional love! Never having a biological sister I was blessed with two by marriage ! I intend to honor my baby sister each and every day !

Mrs Pivetta was such a beautiful and caring woman. She was filled with so much joy, love, and laughter. It was a pleasure to have been given the chance to meet such a kind soul.
