The day Jaivon was born it was the best day of our lives. We were so taken by him.You became mammy. That name stuck and not only Jaivon called you mammy but everyone. You were known as being the best mammy ever. We love you.

It's amazing to me how hard a worker my mom was.  She worked hard her whole life.  When I was little I didn't understand the time she spent working. I just wanted her around all the time.  As I grew older then I realized. Mom worked until 2 weeks before hospice.  I wish she could have had a retirement at least. I wish she won the lottery but I wish I could have taken care of her.

My mom use to be the mom that made our lives seem so rich in spite of the fact we were not. Everything was fun and exciting because she made it that way. We could just lay back watch a movie and eat popcorn and it felt like the best thing in the world.
