Cheryl F. deNu, age 66, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 18, 2019 at UC Davis Medical Center - Sacramento. She was born on April 14, 1952, in Oakland, to Charles and Winnie Mittelstaedt.  She graduated from Canyon High School in Castro Valley.  Cheryl worked as a Respiratory Therapist in the NICU.  Her hobbies included cooking, knitting and reading. She is survived by her brother, Ron Mittelstaedt; a sister, Cindy Bartholomew; her daughter, Michele Hamilton; son-in-law, David Hamilton; her beloved granddaughter, Mallory and several nieces and nephews.  We will remember her forever.
