Cheryl Pipes, 64, of Erlanger, passed away early morning of April 1 st at St Elizabeth Medical Center in Edgewood. Cheryl was a member of Latonia Baptist Church, which she had attended since she was a child. Cheryl’s career was spent working with horses in all local race tracks, including Turfway and Riverdowns. There was not a soul that she did not extend kindness to. Her helping hand and loving heart will be what she is most remembered for.
Cheryl was met at the gates by her beloved brothers; Keith Pipes, Kevin Pipes, Greg Pipes, and Phil Freking, as well as, her father, Donald Pipes.
Cheryl is survived by her mother, Brenda Freking, Taylor Mill; sisters, Rae Jean Roberts (Ron), Somerset, Leslie Stahley (Sean), Ft Wright, and Charmaine Brandenberg, Ft. Mitchell; brothers, Dennis Freking(Casey), Covington and Tim Freking, Girard, OH; last but not least, Cheryl was survived by Jamie Breehne, who was like a daughter to her. They had a beautiful bond that lasted throughout Cheryl’s life. She was also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and so many friends that loved her.
IN lieu of flowers, we encourage donations be made to St Judes Hospital in Cheryl’s name. A celebration of life will be held on April 15 th at the VFW 4435 Dixie Hwy Elsmere, KY 41018. Food and music will be provided, bar will be available.
