Hi, dad, you are in my thoughts often, as usual. I worry about mom and miss you both so very much. I am so sorry for how you spent the last 5 or so months of life here on earth.

Dad, I love you, & will never forget you. I am sorry that I was not told you were sick before you moved on to be with the Lord. I would have been there. Your last words to me were that you wanted to come home with me - I wish; I am grateful & blessed for the time I had with you. You were an amazing dad, husband, and person. Mom misses you, I am sure, as I do. Happy Birthday, Daddy.

Mr. Phebus will be missed. He was a very nice gentleman and I will never forget him. His family loves him very much. I hope that people will remember what he has shown me. That love is unconditional and should never be withheld. Because in the end, that's all that really matters.

Dad, I miss you so much and as the time passes, I am more grateful for the time you lived with me from 12/1/09 until 4/17/10. It was a joy to watch you come back to life, get skinny ;), get strong and best of all, find your will to live. I love you so much, daddy. <3

I never had the pleasure of meeting you but I do know I would have liked you. You left a fine legacy in your kind and beautiful daughter Linda. And if it is true that a man is known for his kind deeds then for sure you will always be remembered with love.

I remember Mr. Chet as a kind and generous man. I remember some of the times I spent in the Phebus home and the time I got to go on their country vacation with them. His kind and gentle spirit lives on through Linda.
