Esther Ajike, Adelopo( nee Oyebade).

Iya Apomu, My hero and great mother, Felicia, omobola, Amosha Oyebade is indeed a true mother( Abiayamo Toto) you lived a life of a good Christian Woman with godly virtue that one needs to emulate, because you always stand for the truth at all time and ready to assist whoever needs help. Though you have passed away but your legacy linger on in my heart and l will forever cherish it. You took good care of your children with tender love and going the extra mile in satisfying every one of us. You are so caring to my father (Baami) when he was alive and the family. I could still remember you frequently check on me when l got married with lots of gifts, this is still fresh in my memory and l will never forget your impact in my life.
Rest on my Good mother (Maami).

Yes, I know long time ago when I saw my mother few years before now that death is inevitable for all mortals. I lost my dad 32 years ago when I least expected, I have lost close relations, including my elder siblings. But despite all these, I almost took it for granted that my mother, Felicia Omobola Oyebade (Nee Akinrefe), would die one day.
On 15th of July 2022 exactly 7:15am, I received a call that my mum has passed on to glory around 3am in the morning. I almost fell down but for his grace I was able to remember what my mum used to tell me in my younger age. ("A lè so pé o ma ya, ko pẹ. A lè so pé o ma pe koya) meaning death may come later or it may come early.
My mum has lived a worthy life of emulations a genuine Christian in the community and in Methodist Church Nigeria, no wonder she was awarded "Susannah Wesley's award" in 2008 by the Women Fellowship Abese/Ifo circuit in Egba Yewa Diocese for her contributions.
My mother was one of strongest, bravest and kindest woman to this planet. I will miss her for the motherly role she played in my life from birth.
Mama Ona Odo! Mama Petesi!
Continue to rest in the bosom of the Lord.

TRiBUTE TO CHIEF (MRS.)MAMA FELICIA OMOTOLA OYEBADE (NEE AKINREFE)                          To God be the glory for mama to live to the ripe age of 97. To everthing there is a season and a time to every pupose under the heaven Ecc 3: 1 - 2. I thank God for the life well spent. I remember the time I lived with mama at Apomu, she was very accomodating, loving, generous and kind; ready to give all assistance needed. The memory is still lingering on my heart. Before mama's depature, it was my desire to see her. I thank God that I was able to see her on 20th May, 2022, I prayed with her and finally said, ESE O. Mama has done all she could do. She has finished her race. Continue to rest on the bossom of your maker. Good night mama.
