Chijioke was born into the Royal Okibe family of Mgbowo in Enugu state. 
He was a well rounded educated man, father, husband, brother and friend to all. He graduated from the prestigious premier university of Nigeria UNN. Chijioke started his, career as a journalist and TV news broadcaster before going back to University to study Law. He practised law and also remained a seasoned broadcaster, MC, blogger, business and family man before his untimely death. Onwa Mgbowo as he was fondly called was a devout Christian and lover of God. He was also an ardent sports man who took exercising and healthy lifestyle very seriously. He was loved by many who understood him and never dwelt on his sometimes overbearing nature. He always meant well. Chijioke would bark but not bite. He was very good natured and amiable. Always ready to lend a helping hand if he could. He was well known to the whole Nigeria and internationally. A lot of people are deeply heartbroken that he is no more with us. So to say Chijioke was loved by all is an understatement. He was a statement of virtue, love, family, friendship and enterpreneuship. He was one you did not forget and will remain unforgettable to all of us. 
Chijioke leaves behind his young wife Akubumma Okibe, his grown daughter,4 children, grandchildren, twin brother,siblings, extended family. friends and colleagues.
