Barrister Chimaobi, a fine gentleman, my cousin in-law turned brother. You were a younger brother to me, I saw you grow from student to Barrister. I was so excited and proud of you, I flew to Abuja to celebrate with you at your call-to-bar. After being through so much, there was finally a light showing up. Then when you started working at Ozekhome chambers, my joy knew no bounds. To top it all, your love for God grew in leaps and bounds. All you wanted to talk about was Jesus and the LOVE of God…wow! When ever you worshipped in church, your hands were raised and your face lit up with pure joy. You had a good heart, never wanted to hurt anyone, always thankful, always hopeful, you inspired me with your words. You had a big smile for everyone and a big hug too. Now you can praise God forever, smile endlessly and be at peace. Heaven indeed has gained. My brother Chimaobi, I miss you dearly. Adieu, rest in the bosom of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Chimaobi,
I am short of words to express how I feel about your passing. You are one in a million of a Causin. Your energy and sense of family is outstanding. You are always there for other people even when it is not convenient for you. Your identification with Jesus Christ and your love for the gospel is something that can not be ignored. You were bold with your faith in God irrelevant of the situation you found yourself. You were a lovely person and always ready and willing to make others around you comfortable. We will forever miss you my beloved Causin. Your short life is an indication of how fragile this life is. Just continue in your rest. Rest in perfect peace beloved Causin.

They say death is the necessary end to life, but we don't really think much about death until it is brought home to us. And thus it was with great shock that i received the news of your passing, Chima. The shock is that death could snatch away a young man like you, so full of life and energy with your dreams and goals yet unborn. I often disagreed with you on some of your ideas but knowing you are no more has filled me with indescribable sadness. I can only imagine how quiet our class whatsapp page will be without you to offer a different point of view on some discussions which often result in a debate.

Yoir death is deeply devastating and reminds us, young as we are, that death is ever a breath away. The only consolation here is that you died unshaken in your faith in Christ whom you unabashedly confessed. Death then is not the end of life but the beginning of it. Thank you, Jesus! Your Will will always prevail.

Chima, i was shocked when the news of your demise filtered in my ears, immediately i recalled the last time we met in Abuja during the NBA conference.
You showered greetings in your usual manner and shouted, "this Man, where have you been?" i smiled and told you that you are really adding weight.
You are such a gentleman who is afraid to hot a soul.
You love our Lord Jesus Christ dearly and never ashamed to profess that at every given oppoturnity.
Chaimo, your contribution will be greatly missed in our WhatsApp platform.
It is so sad that you are leaving when your family and friends need you most..
May the Lord you serve grant your Soul eternal rest. Amen!

Adieu my learned brother,
Chimaobi Onuigbo.

Barr. Chima Onuigbo, the news of your death was like a bombshell to us, your colleagues and remained a source of irrepressible shock to me, but since we lack the competence to question God why he has allowed death to take you away at a time we need you most, without any notice, all we have to do is to commit your soul to him for eternal rest.

No doubt, you lived a life that appealed to all around you and by extention to your God and I strongly believe that those your good deeds while alive will be sweet smelling savour unto GOD and earn you a space in his heart. Since our tears cannot wake you up, we are constrained to say goodbye, good and industrious colleague. Rest in peace Chimo.

Tribute to a real gentleman in all ramification.
Chima the news of your death came as a rude shock, we earnestly did wish that someone would dismiss it as fake, days gone by and we're still saddened over your demise, we have now only memories in our hearts, pictures and videos of you.
You were a true christian who was not ashamed of proclaiming the gospel of christ, making your points in a very polite manner not taking any form of offence with those with divergent view(s).
Your birthday wishes on the platform was unique, I did look forward to what you will make out of my name, atlas Chima is Gone, the smiles are gone.
We take solace in the scriptures as recorded in PSALM 116:15.
Your death is a great loss to us, but a great gain to heaven.
You would forever be missed.
Adieu Colleague
Adieu great servant of God.

Dear Chimaobi, I ran to your Facebook page upon hearing the sad and de tasteful news of your death. From your many posts and especially videos, I am tempted to conclude and or believe that you had an inkling of what was ahead. (Your death).

Chimaobi, you were dedicated to the things of God and you openly expressed it. I have listened repeatedly to your many videos and laboured without success to share some on our class WhatsApp platform. (Still trying though). Chimaobi aka Biggie, you loved your creator.

You were a jolly good fellow. You were the life of the party you attended. You were jovial, friendly, sociable, intelligent, a colleague and a classmate. Chim Chim you were a man of many parts. Your brief sojourn on earth can only be told with care and precision. Your memory will linger for a very very long time.

Adieu my brother, Adieu my friend, Adieu Chimaobi. May your beautiful soul find peaceful repose.

Chimo as I often call him was best known for his charismatic, inspirational and motivational speaking. He encouraged others to live their lives with purpose, and exemplified this encouragement in his own life by making the world know he is sold out to Christ Jesus. He will be greatly missed by all those whom his life has touched.

A special tribute to My late friend, brother, Chimaobi Onuigbo Esq, showcasing some of his greatest speech . As we cry, please join in praying for the Family of Chimaobi, along with his church family – RCCG Ministry knowing that Chimaobi lived a complete Godly life and is today in the kingdom of God with all the saints .

ADIUE CHIMAOBI
MAY HIS SOUL REST IN PEACE.

Like a rainbow fading into the sunny cloud gone too soon. Chima, l will recall with videographic clarity, our years in the faculty of law, your jokes, so hand sakes, your warm words of encouragement and support to wards me. Oh! I see your smile, your laughter. You and Lord Ash walking into the class when lectures are on seemingly unserious but never so. How could you sign such a pact with the creator to live when your manifestation in the path of destiny just began to blaze? No! Come again! Please come back again!. Nevertheless, like all the lawlords of 2006 have said, l will take solace on the sound note that the will of God must supersede. Rest in peace. See you again in the resurrection. Adieu, l miss you.

Gone too soon.

*REST WELL, CHIMA!*

I refuse to accept that you are no more! But again, who am I when God permitted your demise?

Indeed, you left us all with fond memories of you and your references to the importance of oxygen to life during discussions on the class group chatroom. Your unique and characteristic way of celebrating each classmate on their birthdays lingers in our hearts. I have been reading your private chats to me whenever I strongly disagreed with your position during group discussions ...

Kai Chima, I can go on and on about you, your lovable and easily forgiving heart, your love for God ... The news of your demise hit me badly and all of us from the Unical Law Class of 2006.

It is too hard to say goodbye ... Rest well, Chima!

Good morning:

Men may spurn our appeals, reject our message, oppose our arguments, despise our persons, scorn at our appeals, shudder at our taste, and smirk at our efforts but they are helpless against our prayers.

Today, like always, the almighty God will answer all your prayers and His word shall find fulfilment in your life.

You will have an abundance of reasons to shout "halleluyah!!"

Have a truly blessed day...

Chima,
This was your last personal message to me. Its still so shocking to come to terms with the fact that you are no longer with us. You were such a great guy, so full of life, cheerful, kind, gentle and humble. You'll be sorely missed. I take solace in the fact that you confessed Christ passionately as Lord and Saviour. Bask in the presence of the Lord dear brother. Till we meet again...

My dearest Chimo,

I'll miss our long late night phone discussions on the Bible and the love of Christ. Remember you were to update me about service of hearing notice on the matter we're doing together. Our last discussion few days before your death was that you'll update me on the service with a promise to scan the other party's response to me.

I envied the naivety and wild passion with which you loved God like a freshly deflowered teenager with her first love. You challenged me to be a better Christian everytime we discussed on phone. My assurance is that God has a better plan for you.

I'm greatly pained and devastated about your death, but my consolation remains that you are in Christ's abode.

So unfortunate you had to leave this early, Chimo. But you're surely in better place.

Adieu my brother and friend!

Chima, l really find it difficult to accept the realities that you had actually bowed out so soon. You are a man of peace. You were an easy going person, you hardly got offended by anything anybody says during argument. You cheerised and respected women. You always remembers every good work or assistance anybody rendered to you at one point or the other. You have unique meaning attached to everyone's name who comes across to you. I still find it difficult to fare thee well. But, death is the necessary end to all living things. I take solace in the fact that you professed Jesus Christ all through your life time. I know you are now resting in the bossom of your maker. Rest in peace learned colleague till we meet to part no more!

The news of your demise came as a rude shock. I'm still finding it difficult to believe. I can't even believe that I'll get to write a tribute in your memory. I wish I got to know you more.
I wish i listened more
I wish i tried harder to understand your point of view
I wish I could see more of your posts on our class platform
I wish for a whole lot of things but above all I wish you were still alive.
I hope you find peace in your forever.
Adieu my brother. Rest in the bosom of the Lord.

Few days ago, he wished me a happy birthday in his usual style on our class platform, the news is simply unbelievable. It’s very difficult to believe that you are no more Chima. A complete gentleman to the core, an ardent lover of Christ, an intelligent young man, your discussions and memos were very in-depth all round.
You were very compassionate, you loved and respected women, you spoke peace all the time, I’m very convinced you are with your maker in a beautiful place. May God console your mom and us.
Journey well dear colleague!!!!!

It's so unbelievable, I always said to myself that his love for God and believe will take him places. He was never rude to anyone and always  cheerful. I'm surprised to hear he was sick and we never knew about it. Funny enough I never really understood his theory on oxygen but I always took out time to read his write ups on it no matter how lengthy they were. He was a fine gentle man and will be missed by many.
