You brought love and happiness to me

April 20, 2019

I love the way you cherished our love, taught me how to love and filled my life with love and the most beautiful memories. You would do such special things, like draw Garfield for me with love hearts, taught me how to ride a motorbike, or mostly a  passenger and held you tight going up verticals hills that did not seem possible. You rode a bike like you were born with it, such a dare devil. You taught me how to shoot a rabbit on the run, straight through the eyes on my first go! I still remember the excitement on your face! And then you and your dad told me that I had to skin it, now that was a different story. Watching you and your dad build the beautiful holiday home, sweat and tears you loved every minute of it. You were always at peace when you were with nature and so excited when your mum would say ‘we are going to Barkley for the weekend’. I remember your chicken legs wobbling when we taught you to water ski, and the big thumbs up and smile you gave before you stacked it! The school ski trip was one to remember. Talking about school, one day sticks out..... it was year 10 Italian and no teacher in site, you were so funny, grabbed me, pushed me on the teachers desk and jumped on top and started doing push-ups and next minute in came Mrs Verchelli! She was in love with you too so she just smiled as ask you to go back to your desk. You always had the class in stitches with your funny jokes and sexy classy ways. Then there was the day in year 11 when you ducked quickly from my flying school shoe and the double glass window broke! Never a dull moment, it was always fun to kiss and make up! Our first kiss was when I wagged school for the first time, jumped on the bus to come visit you, when you were home with Glandular fever. You were showing off as usual, and kissed me in your sisters bedroom to the song ‘I wanna dance with somebody’ it felt like yesterday and truely was one of my most precious moments of my entire life. Every single time I hear that song  I think of you x You honoured me by being my deb partner and I felt like a princess with my prince. As embarrassed as you were, you came and sat on Santa’s knee with me every year. Your sister adored you and wanted to follow you everywhere you went, I remember it would bring tears to her eyes when you said no, you big bully, only did she know, you were sneaking off to have a smoke! We used to have a great time and made more great memories like dressing up as ‘Kylie Mole’, you were a dam sexy chick. You are so special to me, im so glad we connected again at our school reunion, it was like we were teenagers again with not a care in the world. I tell stories about you to my kids, I’m so blessed to have been part of your life. I will carry you always right where I left you....in my true hart.
