I had the pleasure and privilege of coaching Chris when he played for Montgomery's rugby league team. He also represented Blackpool Schools at rugby league, playing with and against lads a year older than himself. Chris was a fearless and energetic athlete who always played the game in the right spirit. On and off the field, he was a true gentleman. I am truly heartbroken to have witnessed the news of his passing away and I offer my deepest condolences to his family.

Peach where do I start , we have known each other since high school and crossed paths afterwards , u were always a breath of fresh air , always had the right advice when I needed it . What I will never forget and what makes me cry the most is that in ur last chemo u couldn’t sleep and read my status , knowing I was upset , yet to actually message me and give me advice for a hrs , when u must of felt awful , as I say that’s a selfless guy and kind hearted I just wish u and Lisa and all the kids had more time , it’s truly breaks my heart that you have been one of the good guys , but like I know the good ones are taken as angels first will miss you and the amount of love u have just shows u are the most amazing person we knew all my love to the family that have to feel the pain of cancer taking someone xxxxx

Will always remember your first day at High School, most people would be nervous but not you, you instantly made friends and integrated into the group seamlessly, That big Devon smile and your infectious laugh obviously helped. You really was one of the nicest guys I've ever met, It was a pleasure to share the field with you playing football and rugby, a gentleman off the field and a warrior on it. Rest in peace big man

I remember your first day at high school, the lad with the strange name and strange accent who became my best mate at school and team mate at football. Some great memories of our school days, renting Friends videos from the village, talking about girls and going to the football. You were a great lad Peachey and I am so sorry for your family.

I never thought I’d be typing these words. You were my big cuz and you never had a bad word to say about anyone and no one ever had a bad word to say against you. Your heart was made of gold and you were a rare kind of person to find in such a dark world. I know you’re not in pain now and at peace and that is holding my heart together but not by much. I’m glad we got to chat a few times on messenger before you passed. And I will look after my dad for you as you asked. I will miss you cuz I can’t believe this is real I am forever proud at how hard you faught up until the very end. You will be missed by so many people. If you see Lezzo give him a cuddle from me please . Love you cuz it’s not good bye it’s until we meet again

We are proud and privileged to say we knew Chris Peachey. As a stepfather I lived with Chris when he was a young boy of only 7, until he was 18 when he left to spread his wings and make his own way in life. In that time I have many treasured memories that will always be with me.  Mandy and I have never been far away from Chris, but not always as close as we could have been.  He was delt a raw deal with his health and did not deserve the rough time he has endured. We can never forget the memories that will be forever.
You'll be in our hearts xxxxx
