Missing Chris!

July 27, 2022
9 years today, Wow! where has the time gone? That’s 9 years of me being successful and pushing everyday for Chris. Missing you a little extra today :’( Every time I buy a plant or go into the garden, I am reminded of Chris. I can’t believe that I am almost 18, almost graduated, and already have my life planned and I had to do that without you next to me. Anyways, I hope you are up there slaying all the catfish

Honoring Chris today

July 18, 2021
This message I write today is for your dear mom, Sandy. I never got to personally meet her or you for that matter, but through her amazing love for you, she reached out to me in the beginning days of my son becoming an Angel. She saw my pain, a perfect stranger, yet alike in so many ways and bonded together through the love we have for our sons ❤️
i know today is a hard day for her (as is every day) I feel as though I know so much about you through her stories and pictures, I know she will always keep you alive through sharing you with the world!!!!
Dance in the sky today Chris, wrap your arms around your mom and send her so much love, today and every day you are remembered and loved!!! ❤️

Fishing expedition

December 13, 2017

We went down to the river by the arena and it was a Sunday if I am not mistaken, myself and my ex were down at the river the day be4 and I had caught 3 big cats and we went to Skippy's and showed them to Chri..so after work myself and my ex went down on Sunday to find Chris and Skippy at the river and as I was coming down the hill I see Chris with a cat hooked and could see him thru the water as he was feeling it in..he almost ended up in the water getting it to shore so he would not lose it..later that night he came to the house and the ex snapped his picture with his catfish,I then cleaned him and a couple of days later he was dinner..

Tribute tattoo sketch

June 20, 2016

This is a sketch of my tattoo I got as a tribute to Chris. He was such a big part of our family and the best brother-in-law and uncle. I wanted to keep his memory alive and be able to always keep him close to me. Because of this tattoo I get to talk about how amazing he was all the time. You are loved and missed so much Chris❤ and now I am able to keep you close and always by my side forever

Lena, chris loved you so much and I know he's watching down on you everyday... Missing you too....

My Son

October 26, 2013

Chris was the best son a Mom could ask for. I think in his whole lifetime we had 2 fights. We just didn't. We knew and respected each other. He was my rock when it was just him and me against the world. I'll be missing him till we are together again. He was the best friend a person could ask for. If you told him something thats where it stayed.   He was a secret keeper and went to his grave with many. I hope his friends knew how much they all meant to him....

My memory of chris

October 12, 2013
Chris was an awesome friend, the best brother-in-law, a welcome memeber of my family and just in general an awesome guy. He joined my family by marriage to my sister kelly Befus on july 23 2011. He became an uncle to my three children alexys brayden and mason and loved them like they were his own children. He spent numerous weekends picking them up and spending endless hours with them at the beach and going to the parks and getting ice cream and pizza and shopping for new fun things to play with. He also became a father to Helena Befus who he loved with his whole life and all his heart. They were inseperable and he was the highlight of her day and she was the little girl who he loojed forward to seeing everyday of his life. He carried a picture of the two of them together everyday in his lunch box to show everyone at work his little girl. Another one of his huge loves in life was having cookouts on the weekends with friends and family. He also loved his cars. You could always see chris driving around racine in his olds 88 on hydraulics. He then upgraded to an olds 98 with an airbag set up. Chris also loved his music. There are many memeories driving around town with the music cranked. His next love was fishing hence his nickname "catfish chris". If there was a free moment on any day you could find him down by the lake or on the river fishing. He also loved to shoot. Chris had a shotgun and a 45 pistol. We spent many weekends up north and hundreds of rounds later having a blast at the cabin. Chris loved to shoot. He taught his daughter helena how to fire a shotgun and a pistol and that will be in her memories forever. I could go on all day with wonderful memories of chris but this will be the end of the memories for today. I will forever love you and you will never be forgotten and you will forever be a member of this family.
