Christiana Olufunmilayo Akanke Edun was born into the family of late Baba and Mama Yusuf Ademoye of Abeokuta, Ogun State in the year 1937.

She was a trader during her lifetime.

She was a devoted member of St.Stephen's Anglican Church, Nalende, Ibadan. She was a member of Fehintoluwa Society and Treasurer of Ogun State sons and daughters of the church till she was called to glory.

Christiana Akanke Edun was married to late Evangelist Olatunji Edun who was  called to glory on 31st of May, 1998.

She was called to glory at the early hour of 14th April, 2018 after a brief illness.

She is survived by children and grandchildren.
