Christin Lori Coles (Cook), a lifelong resident of Pitman, NJ, passed away on Saturday, December 4, 2021, after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 45.

Christin is survived by her parents, her husband Matthew L. Coles, and her children Emma and Trent.

Christin was born at Underwood Hospital in Woodbury, NJ, on September 28, 1976, to Edward and Valerie Cook. She was raised in South Jersey and graduated from Pitman High School in 1994. 

Christin was a devoted wife to Matt for twenty-one years of marriage and a loving mother to her daughter Emma, and son Trent, Christin’s passion in life was her family. 

Being raised in Pitman, NJ, Christin loved the family atmosphere of her town so much that she raised her children there as well.

For a faired skinned proud redhead, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends down the shore, whether a weekend getaway at her parent's house or beach days covered in sunscreen with her best friend and their children.

Christin had the unique ability to cheer up the grumpiest of kids, whether her own, her Godchildren, or a family friend.  If you needed your child to eat broccoli, Christin was the one who could convince them to try it with a smile on their face.

Christin loved working at Gofer Parts as the Director of IT.  She looked forward to spending time with her “work family," as she would lovingly say. She was brought up to appreciate the value of a dollar, and her work ethic was unquestionable. A true fighter, Christin put the time in at work through the many hurdles she faced after diagnosis. 

Christin's love, and loyalty reached out to her close friends.  She considered them extended family and would never hesitate to be by their side in their time of need.

Loving, Loyal and Devoted are just a few words that describe the person Christin was. She is so much more than that to so many of us and will be truly missed by all who knew her. 

Visitation Thursday, December 16, 2021, from 6-9 pm at FERTIG FUNERAL HOME,  63 North Main Street, Mullica Hill NJ 08062. Interment private at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Matthew Coles and family.
