Chris was born in Fresno CA on February, 03, 1970. Her family traveled a lot. She grew up completing her schooling on her own. She had a love for animals working at an animal clinic and living in Pasadena CA. Her interest in the medical field continued and she became a Certified Medical Assistant working at Cedars Sinai for nearly 10 years before coming to the eastern sierra to continue her life.

In our area, she worked at Mammoth Hospital and at the Mono County Health Department in a variety of positions including management in emergency services. She also enjoyed similar work for the  Alpine County Health Department. Her work included developing the AM Alert radio system in use in the area and continued efforts to enhance emergency awareness and unified preparedness for the benefit of all local residents and visitors.

In 2006 she went to work for Pre Paid Legal Services (Now Legal Shield) as an Associate and Director. She enjoyed working with computers and also developed a number of websites. In her spare time, she enjoyed volunteer activities including working with the Mono County Sheriff SAR Team, the Dive Team and was a commissioner for the Long Valley Fire Department.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 7 years, Peter De George, her immediate and extended families and friends in emergency services across the country.
