The Flaming Light Goes Off

May 7, 2021
Life itself is a mystery. The more you think the more ambiguous it becomes. This light was lit many years ago by the most High, now the flaming light goes off. Are we to question our creator or do we take a battle to His kingdom? Absolutely, No! everything remains perfect in His eyes, in His words and in His thoughts and He has taken His own.
Going down memory lane, I remember in one occasion Aunty Christine Anamdi (Mutti) visited us in No 7 Monrovia Street New Haven, Enugu I hid her car key, as she was preparaing to leave, she discovered that her car key was missing, apparently  in our house. Immediately, the whole house was thoroughly searched but to no avail. The next minute a scenario played out between my dear Aunty (Mutti) and myself  ''Chuboy kedu ebe I debelu key motor mu'' (Chuboy where did you keep my car key) I remembered telling her that I hid the key because I wanted her to  stay with us and she further accepted my request and tenderly in a motherly tune she went on '' Chubobo gwam o ebe key motor di o'' I was touched by her motherly acceptance of staying with us. I carefully brought out the car key beneath the seat cushion... SMILES.
Mutti, mutilatu was indeed a mother to all not just to her biologically children, Her energetic aura was felt in all ramification.  A first class Aunty of mine, a mother figure, Adadioramma, Adinije, an erudite administrator, a true Christian, a hardworking anty, a gold getter, a hard core disciplinarian and a source of inspiration . Surely we will miss you Adiniji Nwanyi Oma!
In this moment of grief and mourning one thing remains clear ''God is the giver of life and equally the taker of life'' we celebrate your life and time on earth because the giver of life blessed you with children and grand children - a prayer of every man.  Now that your chapter has come to an end! TEARS...  on an onward journey to your ancestral home of glory for a greater life after.
May He accept your soul in peace perfect peace. Amen
