Her Life
April 27, 2016

Mrs. Scott was born in Harrisburg Pennsylvania on April 8, 1968. She was the much loved daughter of the late, Evelyn Potts Bumford and Clifton L. Bumford. As a teenager she landed a job as a Lancome representative which financed all of her high school adventures. She then moved to Washington, D.C. where she worked for Our Eyes Optical Company where she became a district manager. After marrying the love of her life, Jeremy Scott she made the choice to become a stay at home wife and mother. She loved doing all the extracurricular events with both her daughter’s, and especially enjoyed spending time with them at home where she could feel the closeness that mother’s and daughter’s develop. Her mother was Hungarian, and she enjoyed cooking all of the authentic dishes her mother had taught her. Her Chicken Paprikash was her family’s all-time favorite. Christine was a very outgoing and friendly person. Her winning personality made her a shoe in for any type of sales. When her children became a little older she became a popular Mary Kay representative, and loved doing demonstration and parties. Searching for treasures and selling them on e-bay was one of her favorite pastimes! She was a Christian by faith who loved attending church with her family. Her loving spirit, vivacious personality, and giving heart will long be remembered.

She is survived by her husband, Jeremy Allen Scott; daughter, Piper Scott; and mother-in-law, Jeanette Scott, all of Franklin, GA.; brother Cliff Bumford of Pittsburg, Pa.; and one very special uncle and aunt, Pete and Ronnie Toth of N.J.; and a host of adoring friends.

Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Lilly Scott.
