Happy Birthday Chris !
Christopher Micheal Cates, 21, a resident of Granville County, passed away Sunday, June 24, 2012.
A native of Durham County, the son of April Cates Johnson and Christopher Michael Prosser. He was employed in the landscaping business. He is now present with his grandmother who passed away September 24, 2010.
Graveside Services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Thursday, June 28, 2012 in Creedmoor Cemetery by Rev. David Richardson.
Surviving other than his parents, a brother, Jason Flake, Jr. of the home and his grandparents, David and Faye Jones of Stem.
Eakes Funeral Home in Creedmoor assisting the Cates family.

Chris, You were a Great Kid! You always knew how to make a person laugh when they were down. Life will never be the same without you! Chris was always a polite young man. Chicken strips with honey mustard if I remember correctly is what that smiling boy always ordered at Brick Oven Pizza. April, Micheal, Rodney and all family and friends of Chris-I am so sorry for your loss. There are no words to offer comfort at a time like this.
