Christopher Jefferson Golson went home to be with the Lord on September 6th, 2023.
Jeff was born on January 15th, 1966, in Jasper, AL. Jeff graduated from Hueytown High School and Samford University. Jeff was predeceased by his daughter Dallas Virginia Golson and father Carl Harold Golson. Jeff is survived by his daughter Alice Breanna (Anna) Golson, granddaughter Dallas Reign Golson, his mother Barbara Walker Wood, one brother Brian Golson (Kim), one Aunt Cindy Walker and several cousins. Jeff was loved by his family and a multitude of friends.
Jeff started his work career at M&B metals in Leeds, AL but spent most of his career as a server at the Bright Star restaurant in Bessemer, AL. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and enjoyed the simple things in life and was an avid hunter, who loved the outdoors and his family.
All friends and family are invited to a celebration of Jeff’s life Saturday, September 9th, 2023, beginning at 12:00. The celebration will take place at the Family Life Center at Shades Crest Baptist Church, 452 Park Avenue, Hoover, AL 35226.
