Chris was born in Boone County West Virginia, he was the youngest of 3 boys.  Growing up he enjoyed fishing and hunting. Chris was a wonderful artist and a self-taught guitarist.  Throughout high school he was a volunteer Firefighter.

After Graduation Chris joined the United States Marine Corp and became a mechanic, working on F-18’s.  His last two years in the Marine Corp he was a very successful recruiter. Chris’ ultimate goal in life was to become a firefighter.  He was honorably discharged from the Marines and moved to North Carolina to pursue his goal.

In 2001 Chris graduated from Basic Law Enforcement Training and secured a job with the Morganton Public Safety Department, as both a Firefighter and a Police Officer.

In 2002 Chris married Angela who had 2 boys, Casey and Collin, who he loved as his own. Chris and Angela also had a son, Chandler Christopher White.

In March of 2003 Chris' life ended unexpectedly leaving behind his wife and 3 sons.
