I moved to Redlands and joined the Redlands Water Bottle Club and met Chris on my second group ride. He was always was a great friend and happy to see me when I rode with the club on Tuesday and Thursdays mornings. My work schedule changed and didn't ride with the club or Chris for months. I was riding alone in Riverside and saw a group ahead and worked hard to get up with the group by Riverside University in Riverside. When Chris saw me he said, I haven't seen you for a long time, it's good to have you riding with us. We started climbing and Chris was climbing strong and I was slow, out of shape! We stopped at the Chevron gas station at the corner of Alessandro Blvd and Sycamore Canyon Blvd. I told Chris your climbing strong and ask him, do you have a motor in your bike. Chris laughed and said yes it a e-bike! Always a great time and friendship riding with Chris.
