Christopher was born in Chapel Hill, NC on April 20, 1963 to the late James OD Fowler and the late Eula Strickland Fowler.

He graduated from Northwood High School in 1982. He then went to work for Duke University in Durham, NC. In 2001 he moved to Reno, NV and then in 2012 to Sacramento, CA and finally to Albuquerque, NM in 2018

He is survived by his Significant Other Edward Davison, and by his brother Steven Scott Silvers of Sacramento, CA.
