Christopher Russell Currin, 50, a longtime resident of Granville County passed away Sunday, March 20, 2016 at Duke Medical Center.

A native of Granville County, he was the son of the late Russell Currin and Annette Price Eddings. He was of the Baptist faith and was a painter most of his life.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, April 10, 2016 at Hester Baptist Church Cemetery.

Surviving are two sons, Rusty Currin of Oxford, Shane Pendergraph of Creedmoor, a step-brother Jeremy Currin of Henderson and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be held at the home of Lou Hancock, 208 Tranquil Drive, Oxford, N.C. 27565.
