Happy 21st Birthday Son. I honestly can't believe its been 5 years since you left us, some days it seems like you were just here and I was laughing at one of your silly jokes and then there are days that I can't comprehend that I've been able to go this long without hearing your laugh. I miss you so very much and love you more than life.

Every hour of every day is a constant struggle to let my life move forward. My heart longs for the day, when I will see my son once again! Though Christopher's life was short, I will forever remember what an amazing person, son and brother he was.

sneaky kids

April 17, 2011

Amy and I were going to Omaha for shopping one saturday morning. We told the kids they weren't able to come with us this time.  I still had my red ford escort and the back seats fold down and can get to the trunk from inside the car.  The kids were to all  stay at my house while we we're gone.  So Amy and I are on our way.  Down the road a few miles  sounds and laughing coming from the back seat.  Out pops Chris and Autumn from the trunk of my car.  Scaring the heck out of us.  Course the kids were smart and didn't reveal themselves until we were far enough away from home couldn't turn around.  Chris and Autumn had a great big smile on their faces and laughing.  Those two were so happy that they got to go along.

I have alot of wonderful memories of you Chris.  Chris you are an amazing person and I don't know why you had to leave us so soon.  You taught me alot of lessons, to be kind and considerate of others.  I didn't know it at the time but I wish I would have listened to you more.  You were a very smart young man.  I'm sorry you had to endure things that must have been real hard for you.   I really want to be more like you for the rest of my life.   I will miss you until the day I die.  I hope I get to see you again someday.  I love and miss you!  NaNa
